·            Counseling of benefit plan fiduciaries during benefit claims reviews and appeals processes

·                     Counseling of employers regarding their obligations to underfunded multiemployer plans

·                     Defense of plans and their fiduciaries in federal court against complaints for:

    • plan benefits and
    • breach of fiduciary duty

·                     Defense of employers against claims by multiemployer plans for payment and collection of withdrawal liability
